BATCH #6, PINOT NOIR ROSE, CARNEROS, 2017

A wild vintage. The year began with abundant rainfall. A mild spring followed by a freak hail storm in June that near missed our vineyard. Two heat waves during the summer, a third one right after we harvested during Labor Day Weekend. Cool weather settled in until the wildfires ravaged the region starting October 8th.

BATCH #5, CABERNET SAUVIGNON, YOUNTVILLE, 2015

Batch #5 is a single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from an iconic Yountville Vineyard established in 1973. A vintage to be remembered for its high quality but significantly low yield (-40%), a result of a cool Spring season, a hot and dry summer. The quality of the fruit was outstanding although in limited supply, it is likely to be recognized as one of Napa Valley’s greatest.

BATCH #1, CHARDONNAY, 2013

The First Vice. A 100% chardonnay that was aged in oak barrels for 36 months.

Only a few wineries in the world have released a Chardonnay that has aged this long, but we believe that the craftsmanship of such quality wine requires patience.

The wine was from 21 hand selected barrels representing the best appellations of both Sonoma County (75%) and Napa Valley (25%).
